I looked at him\u2014the same man who had thrown me out like I was nothing.<\/p>\n

Then I reached into the box, pulled out another envelope, and handed it to him. His name was written across it.<\/p>\n

He opened it quickly, scanning the contents. His face drained of color.<\/p>\n
