My parents raised me to believe that words have weight. We were taught that if we couldn&#8217;t contribute kindness, we shouldn&#8217;t contribute anything at all. There were no screens to hide behind; you had to look people in the eye and own your words.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">It hurts my heart to see how easily people tear each other apart online today. Just because we have a keyboard doesn&#8217;t mean we lost our manners. Let&#8217;s bring back that old-school respect.
